today’s the big day!

the apple stores worldwide are down- which is always a good sign. the iphone dev center is also unavailable right now. in just under an hour, all our speculating and positing will be confirmed (or not.) this is how we plan to stay on top of things during the keynote:

tuaw
arstechnica
engadget
digg

if that’s not enough, you can always download the video of the keynote once it’s posted. until then, have a look at this interesting article.

Confirmed rumour? or rumour confirmed?

Engadget says they have confirmed that Monday’s keynote will announce a few new iPhone features: 3G and GPS. We’ve heard this sort of speculation before, but they claim to have heard from “a reliable source”, which we take to mean carriers that have had access to the soon-to-be-released iPhone firmware, that these features will be included in the next version.
